The Port Macquarie Rifle Club was established as the Hastings Militia Rifle Club in 1888,
making it the second oldest sporting body in the Hastings. In 1900 it was re-named the Hastings River Rifle Club and, in 1902, it moved to its current site. The land, about 270 acres, was originally owned by the Federal Government and passed to the State Lands Department in 1903, shortly after Federation.

NEWS
Mike Chad and Neil Drain have been selected to represent Australia in a 15-man team to, "CAMP PERRY 2012", USA and Canada.
The whole team, selected from all over Australia, is just 15 Members in size and contains 2 from the Port Macquarie Club - not bad for a Club that gets just over 2 hours a a week access to its range!!
Welcome to new shooter,
Luke Thomson,
who shows loads of promise.
