Mal McKenzie wins Open Prize Meeting
at Inverell Easter 2013 Weekend
3 Members of the Port Macquarie Rifle Club joined about 60 other marksmen on the Inverell Rifle Range for a 6 Range competition over the Easter Weekend. Two of the three have been selected in the NSW State Team Squad which commences Training & Elimination sessions next weekend in Sydney.
Mal McKenzie continued his splendid form to win both the Day 2 Aggregate AND the Grand Aggregate for both days as well as numerous Range wins along the way. This is Mal’s first major win and should be followed by bigger & better achievements. Mike Chad spent the whole competition inside the, “Top Five” places. These results auger well for these shooters State Team aspirations.
